New Winter Opening Hours
Below are the new 'Temporary' winter opening hours - Previous times will be put back in place early 2025

Monday: 18:00 - 22:00
Tuesday: 18:00 - 23:00
Wednesday: 18:00 - 00:00
Thursday: 18:00 - 22:00
Friday: 16:00 - 00:00
Saturday: 12:00 - 00:00
Sunday: 12:00 - 22:30
Bowling green is now CLOSED for the winter
As from the 1st November, the bowling green will be closed for the winter and re-opened early 2025. During this time the green will be given top quality maintenace to ensure the best surface is ready for the 2025 season.

The main clubs Snug Room, Function Room and Snooker Room are all open as normal.
Bowls Club of the Year 2023
The Packhorse are delighted to announce that along with Penn Bowling Club, we have won the 2023 Bowls Club of the Year. The award was presented by Club Mirror at their annual awards evening for all clubs throughout the UK.

This is a fantastic achievement for all involved in taking the club to the next level.
​
Venue manager Dean Holmes and his wife Bethan were on hand at Athena in Leicester to pick up the award along with a certificate to mark the club being over 100 years old.

Playground Project
Up to now we have raised around the £1000 mark towards our target of £8000. Thank you so much for your donations for our huge community initiative. Fundraising is ongoing and would really appreciate any donation you could spare.
